• March Disapearance..

  Has been almost 2 good months that I have not been a good Xangarian and update my blog as a blogger. I have been busy, I have been sick, I have been travelling around and I have been worried about the economy recession which is looming with dark dark clouds over the sky. I sincerely apologize.

  

  The last couple of weeks has been very very interesting with loads of things happening. I must say that I too is worried with the current economic situation and I guess no one is spared especially those in the USA, UK or Japan. Friends has been retrenched, friends who cannot find job giving up and going home, friends who is here for working holiday are giving up as well and BBC hasn't been really helpful with retrenchment news on the front page almost every single day. I too feared one day I might loose my job and have to go back.

  

  Apart from that, in March I also have officially started my Euro tour. First stop, Italy. Spending a couple of days in Milan, Rome and a visit to the world's smallest state-country, The Vatican. Well, those who have my facebook have probably seen loads and loads of pictures which I have yet to update on the blog but sooner or later, I'll have to clear this backlog blogging of Italy. Milan wasn't as nice as I expected it to be, Rome was the most awesome city and a pilgrimage trip as a catholic to Vatican City was a nice cherry on top of the cake.

  

  More and more travel is coming up in the next 2 months as the end of next week I'll having another long weekend holiday followed by 2 weeks holiday in Malaysia which is the cheapest deal ever flying first time on long haul Air Asia X London to Kuala Lumpur and then to Kuching and return for about £200. Flying nowadays are so affordable! Then upon return, 2 weeks later I'll be flying again and this time up north to scandinavia... Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. For my birthday next month, I'll be celebrating it at Belfast, Northern Ireland.

  

  I've been longing to visit these countries and now it seems like everything is coming true. But I am a little worried still... With the amount of travel I am doing, I'm hitting my 3 country per year quota for tis year.. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO FROM JULY ONWARDS? Italy, Sweden, Northern Ireland... Hmmm.. I think I should void Northern Ireland.. as it's still considered UK.. Now.. where to fit France and Spain? I wonder!

  And at this critical time, I should be saving all my money.. Why am I spending so much? Geez... Oh well, at least I'm doing my part in saving the economy.. the govt needs people to spend, and I am spending.. Helping to increase he inflation while UK is deflating now... Good citizen, I am! Wait.. I'm not even a citizen yet... Just merely an immigrant.. *&^%$#@

  

  Well, back to the GBE that I've been doing, being in England of course have to join the English in their culture and since I can't beat them, I join them! Being a football fan I am, being an Arsenal football fan for years I am, finally I got a chance to step into the stadium joining 60 thousand other fans to cheer for the club that I have been supporting for the past 10 years! Arsenal 2 - 0 Manchester City.. Glory.. glory... Gunners! Ops! Is that the Man Utd song? Bugger!
